FCF and our volunteers are supporting local schools in many ways.

Some of our volunteers are qualified teachers and are actively helping here teachers at class or teaching themselves. Other volunteers are working as teaching assistants. During class they help kids to make exercises, etc.

For public schools government is providing basic equipment. However it is not always sufficient. Some of the kids also don’t have basic school materials, which should be provided by their parents.

FCF is helping with providing school materials for kids and sometimes buying school equipment.

Kids here love reading so please bring any reading books for kids in English.

We already bought some furniture for kindergarten: tables and chairs for little kids, sleeping mats etc. See pictures below.

There is still need to provide more teaching materials especially for youngest kids at school. There is no building for kindergarten classes at one of the schools. Kids have classes almost outdoors, there is just a roof to protect them from sun and rain. There is not enough little tables for small kids.
